Advance knowledge and practice in all areas of consulting psychology (including but not limited to coaching, assessment, leadership, corporate consulting, consulting to schools, team consulting, etc.)
The journal publishes peer-reviewed, scholarly research in all areas, including at the individual, group, and organizational/systemic levels so long as there is a consulting focus. Articles crossing two or more levels are particularly welcomed. The journal is international in scope and is uniquely placed to reach both academic and consulting practitioner audiences, publishing original empirical research, reviews of literature and research, case studies, articles on training practice development, theoretical articles, and more.
The journal is published by the American Psychological Association, and is available electronically through APA's PsycNET platform, which includes PsycINFO, the world's largest resource for the discovery of abstracts and citations from behavioral science research, and PsycARTICLES - a database of full-text articles from journals published by APA.
The journal is a publication of the American Psychological Association's Division 13, the Society of Consulting Psychology, which represents psychologists who consult with individuals, groups and organizations in order to catalyze growth and change. The Society strives to be a strong intellectual and collegial community that is a source of valuable insights and useful resources, as we continuously expand the knowledge base of our profession. The Society leads a yearly conference and participates in APA's Annual Convention.
