The Open Access journal primarily focuses on addressing the consulting format “coaching” from a qualified theoretical perspective (original papers in German and English, double-blind peer-review).
Though chiefly situated in the field of occupational and organizational psychology, the journal's orientation is interdisciplinary, so as to duly take into account the complexity of the subject matter and the requirements in practice. In terms of methodologies, “Coaching | Theory & Practice” offers a platform for quantitative and qualitative approaches alike, reflecting the dynamic developments in and interplay between practice and research. It is intended to advance not only the theoretical legitimation of coaching, but also its professionalization and quality assurance.
