Urgent request for research participants

4th November 2020 by Peter Jackson

Tatiana Bachkirova and myself are nearing the end of the data collection stage of what we hope will be a really important research project. We are looking into the progression of the agenda through the coaching relationship: does the agenda shift? does it shift in predictable ways? are there topics that come up time and time again?

To participate, all it requires is some demographic info about you (which is anonymised) and then (also anonymised) an indication of the main topics of your discussions with particular clients. Again – you won’t be asked any identifying features of the client – you just use a code name of your own choosing so you can remember who you’re talking about. You choose the topics from a dropdown list of themes that we’ve found are common.

There is more info and instructions on the dedicated website: https://www.coachingcontentresearch.org  This is where you input the data.

We intend to download the data to start the analysis process on November 19th, so this really is a last call for help. The more data we get the more useful will be the findings.

(By the way, if you have already visited the site and created a profile and have client records unfinished, just finishing these off would be a great help too.)

Thank you so much for your support.
